Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Athens Airport and private transfer to your hotel in the center of the city. Check in at the hotel and free time for the rest day.

Day 2

After breakfast you will follow the Athens H/D City Tour with the New Acropolis Museum on SIC basis

Dep. 08.45 - Ret. 13.30 – Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

This tour allows you to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides take you to see the center of the city, Constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, and the National Library. Driving down Herod Atticus Street, you will see the Evzones in their authentic uniform and the Presidential Palace. On your way to the Acropolis, you will see the Hadrian’s Arch, visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus and you will make a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896. On the Acropolis visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts the order in the mind”, the Parthenon. You complete the visit with the Acropolis Museum.

Day 3

After breakfast, free day at leisure.

Day 4

After breakfast they will follow Full DAY Delphi Tour with lunch on SIC basis
Schedule: Every Wednesday – Friday & Sunday
Start: 08.45 - 19.00
Drive through the fertile plain of Beotia, crossing the towns of Thebes connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus - Levadia and Arachova (short stop on the way back). Arrive at Delphi, the center of the Ancient World - the "Omphalos" (Navel of Earth) - whose prestige extended far beyond the boundaries of the Hellenic World. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo, and the Museum containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias. Lunch in the modern village of Delphi and return to Athens by the same route. N.B. Clients staying at the coast will depart for their hotels from G.O.TOURS terminal around 19.30 hrs.

Day 5

After breakfast, free day at leisure.

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel & free time at your leisure. Departure transfer from the Hotel to the Airport.

Our drivers may wait up to 45 min for delayed flight. After the 45 min, there will be an extra charge for car & driver which will be paid on the spot by the client. There will be a supplement for night transfer (23.00-07.00) Check in time at the hotel is 15.00/ check out at 11.00. Accommodation tax of 1.50 Euro (3* hotels), 3 Euro (4* hotels) & 4 Euro (for 5* Hotels) per room, per night is not included as clients should pay it directly at the hotel.
